D’Angelo Bros. installed over 50,000 Cubic Yards of surcharge material as well as over 18,000 Cubic Yards of select drainage material for the Rivermark Northern Liberties Apartments (Former Festival Pier Site) at 501 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard in Phila., PA. The east side of the property abuts the Delaware River which required completely reshaping the river embankment and covering it with new rip rap stone. Along the northern side of the property, we extended an existing culvert 250LF by installing a precast concrete culvert inside of a steel sheetpile cofferdam. The precast concrete culvert was set on top of a poured in place pilecap which was supported by 40-ton capacity helical piles. The extensive sitework consisting of storm drainage, concrete walks, retaining walls and placing over 5000 Cubic Yards of lightweight planting mix on the 2nd Floor outdoor deck area.
